Teresia Hopson is a licensed clinical social worker and owner of Avalon Counseling & Consultation. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Ball State University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University.
Teresia has over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of residential and outpatient settings. She uses an eclectic approach to therapy in order to tailor treatment to her clients' individual needs and abilities.
Avalon was founded in 2004 by a small group of licensed clinical social workers who were also friends. This combination of friendship and skill is what is responsible for the success it is today. Since 2004, we have provided services to over 4000 clients; and like all things, over the years, the practice has continued to grown and evolve.
Authurian legend states that Avalon was the island that King Arthur was taken to be healed from his wounds. We believe in the power of healing and rejuvenation. We also have the skills and compassion necessary to assist you in healing the wounds from your past and present so that you can walk into your future a better version of yourself.
